My professional life initially took quite a different route; after a poignant experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro following a job redundancy, I decided to take control of my destiny. This led to a career as a Virtual Assistant, utilising my workplace skills, which eventually evolved into productivity coaching.

However, my spiritual inclinations never ceased. It was during my time running a spiritual-creative venture, The Magickal Creatrix, that I began to feel the pull of astrology more strongly. This turned out to be a transformative experience. With Heather's expert guidance, I revisited the basic principles of astrology, learning to understand them in more profound ways. I realised that there were nuances I'd missed and interconnections I hadn't fully understood.

Challenges and Triumphs

One of the main challenges I faced was unlearning some of the misconceptions I had gathered during my informal studies. It required a certain level of humility to admit that, despite years of reading and research, there were still fundamental concepts I needed to grasp. Another challenge was time management. Balancing formal study with running my own astrology business was no small feat. But my passion for the subject saw me through these obstacles, and I emerged with a deeper, more structured understanding of astrology.

I've recently begun my next phase of education with the Faculty of Astrological Studies, a step that brings me closer to mastering this ancient discipline.
